Often if I modify the project the order of the bands is changed randomly. Why?
Thanks in advance

I have no idea ... but if you add new layers to the project, the order can be changed as well. What do you mean with "modify the project"?
Thanks for the reply. I try to explain myself better.
I load 4 bands (red, green, blue and NIR) and put them in order for the "true color" see fig 1.
Then if for some reason (creating a subset) I modify the project (File-> Modify Open Project) and press ok, the order of the bands sometimes changes (fig 2) and I have to rearrange them.
Sorry I thought I could send imgs, anyway

It is possible to add pictures (and formats) in the 'edit' mode of a comment (its a bug)
I tried to reproduce the issue on my computer but the layer order is not changing ... please submit a support ticket and and example project so that the eCognition team can fix the issues!!!
It's something that happens occasionally, randomly.
How can i activate editing mode comment?
How do I submit a "support ticket"?
Thanks for your time

I'll do.it.

I have also experienced this bands re-arranging in the image Edit Image Layer Mixing dialog. It's okay if I have only 1 to 2 data and with like 3 to 4 bands. But what if I am working with several sentinel2 data and using all the 13 bands? Would really appreciate if someone could address this.
Hi Stephanie,
This will be fixed in the next software release. What we have noticed is, that if you are using the "modify open project" dialog in an existing project, the layers might be rearranged. Is this also what you are experiencing or does this re-arranging happen during another process?
Thanks!
Hi Matthias.
I have experienced this many times when I try to input another satellite image using the Modify Open Project command. It is really bothersome esp. if working on an image with more than 10 bands. Good to know that this will be addressed in the next release of Ecog.
Hi Stephanie,
I feel your pain! We found an issue with the band re-arrangement happening automatically using the modify open project dialog. This will be fixed in the next release. Please keep us updated if you are running into such issues so we can fix it.
PS: Have maybe a look into the "Customized Import" functionality. Here you can create a template which specifically defines how a project is created. For S2 I actually created my own customized import routine which always creates the project identically (already with the aliases etc.). Keep an eye here on the community / youtube channel, we might soon upload a video on the customized import.
Cheers
Thanks!
Hi Matthias.
Thanks for your advice, I will have a look at this command and see what I can do. I will be looking forward to this video on the eCogniton tv youtube channel. Thanks for your great videos there, they are so helpful.
