Object level permanence
I have a project where my rule set creates objects, runs through various algorithms, and exports a gdb at the end. When I open the project the previously created objects are there. I want to add more variables, then extract statistics from the new variables using the existing objects. As soon as I add the new variables to the project, the previously created objects disappear. Is there a way to stop the objects from disappearing after adding more layers?
Secondly, it is not always the case that my object levels stay with the project. Sometimes when I re-open a project they are simply gone. I'm working with very large study areas and don't want to loose time recreating objects. Additionally, it is important for our workflow to maintain the same objects with the same object id's, all of which I lose when the objects randomly disappear. Is there a setting or process to keep the object levels from randomly disappearing?
