Automatic Threshold

Learn about how to use the algorithm "Automatic Threshold" to compute automatically a threshold that can be used for example for segmentation using the "multi-threshold segmentation" algorithm. The "Automatic Threshold" is computed based on the histogram of one input layer comparing the overall Standard Deviation with the weighted standard deviations, left and right for different bins. We go into detail how the threshold is computed and also show you some examples within the eCognition Developer software. Enjoy!
